Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This page explains how Galiano Soccer Training Co., doing business as JOGA Soccer Academy ("JOGA", "we", "us"), handles health information about a player. Washington's My Health My Data Act calls this consumer health data. This page sits beside our Privacy Policy.

What health information we collect

Only what a parent or guardian chooses to give us:

Food and allergy notes, like a food your player must not eat, for a camp or clinic.

Medical notes, like asthma or an inhaler, that our coaches should know about to keep your player safe.

Injuries and medical conditions, if you tell us about them on the pre training form before your player's first session.

We do not collect fitness tracking, heart rate, location or any health information from a phone or a watch. Drills marked done and sessions attended are covered by our Privacy Policy, not this page.

Where it comes from

From you, the parent or guardian. You type it when you register your player for a camp or clinic in the JOGA app or on our website, or on the pre training form before your player's first session, or you ask our staff to add a medical note to your player's record.

Why we collect it

To keep your player safe at the camp, clinic or session.

To fill in your next registration for you, so you do not type it again.

We never use health information for ads or for anything else.

Your yes comes first

In the JOGA app, the notes are sent to us only after you switch on Health notes and agree. On our website, they are sent only after you check the health notes box. Until then they stay on your phone or computer. In the app, we keep a record of your yes, for each player, with the words you agreed to. On the pre training form, telling us about an injury or a medical condition is up to you: leave it blank if you prefer.

Who sees it and who we share it with

The staff and coaches at the camp or clinic, and the staff and coaches at your JOGA location who work with your player.

Supabase and Vercel, the companies that store our data and run our servers for us. They may only store and process it for us.

We never sell health information. We never share it with Google, Meta or any other company for ads. We share it with no one else unless you say yes, the law requires it, or your player's life or safety depends on it.

How long we keep it

Until you remove it, or 12 months after your player's last camp or clinic, whichever comes first. A medical note on your player's record stays until you remove it or your player's record is deleted.

How to change or remove it

Message us in the app, or email info@jogasocceracademy.com, and we change or remove it. You can also change the notes the next time you register. Deleting your account deletes every health note (see our Privacy Policy).

Your rights

See the health information we keep and the companies we shared it with.

Delete it.

Take back your yes at any time. We then stop using the notes and delete them.

Ask us to look again if we say no to a request. Reply to our answer and we look again within 45 days. If you are still not happy, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov.

To ask, Message us in the app, email info@jogasocceracademy.com, or call (425) 484 3873. We check it is you, usually with a code to your email or phone. We answer within 45 days, and tell you if we need 45 more. We never treat you differently for asking.
